Two Opportunities

Hey there 👋
I just finished reading a book about self discipline...and I learned something I could relate to.
I'll think about that.
By the way, I started on the Amigurumi project...and chose a bunny.
I decided to use red...vermilion actually.
Let's see how it turns out. 🐰
As I was thinking,
I read a part about thinking long term when working towards a goal. Behind any outstanding achievement, there are years of hard work and persistence.
Makes me remember the time I started affiliate marketing (twas in April this year).
I started with the mindset of making money....just promote a product and earn sweet cash, right?
Well, I tried but now that I think about it, I could have stayed longer with it....
But I quit when I saw another opportunity...copywriting.
I watched a video on YouTube, at first to learn how I could use the skill in affiliate marketing.
After watching some more videos, I was convinced that copywriting was a better way to make money.
A failed outreach later, I went back to affiliate marketing (after judging that promoting products to earn was better).
The truth is, I hadn't learned enough about the two opportunities to decide which one I was going to stay with.
Because they both have their pros and cons.
But I didn't fail at both...what I mean is,
I earned two commissions as an affiliate and I also help a client with her email list and wrote some emails for her.
Now...at this very moment...with all I now know about the two...I prefer copywriting.
I could be a great affiliate but one thing stands....I love to write and assemble concepts into words.
So I'll stick with copywriting and helping businesses.
They're not so different....affiliate marketing and copywriting.
Let me break it down....
Affiliate marketing is simply selling other people's products.
Copywriting is simply selling products and services with written words.
And I love writing so.....
That's all for now, Ami.
One lesson I've learned is this:
"Don't go into an opportunity for the short term benefit or because others are doing it. Make sure it's something you want to do".
Hope you've learned a thing or two.
Till next time ✌
