Twenty Shades of Laughter

How's it going, Ami?
Guess what? I didn't scroll...after I posted previously...went straight to bed.
That's what I would call conquering.
I conquered myself.
Sounds like there's two of me when I say that. Truth is, I feel that way sometimes.
Anyways, today went well (day 8)
Oops!
I made a mistake in my last post, calling it day 7.
That's the only edit I'll make....
Right after, I think about today.
Today was great. I laughed a lot and there was a particular incident I want to relate.
So, my brother (the one after me) has this loudspeaker and he was playing a movie.
I'm a movie buff, by the way.
I love action and adventure movies...so much so that it's a problem (sometimes)
Anyways, my brother doesn't like intrusion when he's watching movies. 
I went to his room as I heard the obvious sounds of an interesting movie playing.
I stood there.
He wasn't aware of my presence (or maybe he was...I don't know)
As I peeked at his phone screen, I noticed it was a movie about Transformers.
Awesome!! I didn't want to disturb him but at the same time...Transformers!!!
Then I just blurted, "Can I watch?"
He pointed to the space beside him.
"You can stay there".
And he adjusted the screen so we could both see it.
At that moment, I realized the importance of just asking for what you want.
Even if you might not get it.
I also laughed a lot today with my other siblings as we shared funny moments of past mishaps.
It was priceless. Just living in that moment.
I'm grateful to God for my family, even though they drive me crazy.
I would get so angry at how they would make me feel sometimes...quite angry that I would say nothing and go outside.
To think of my own fault and ways the situation could be resolved.
But I never stay mad at them.
Ma famille est incroyable
....just thought of the last word now.
"My family is incredible". That's the translation....working on my vocab 😁
That's all for now.

PS: A friend called yesterday. Called my social media absence a 'sabbatical', which I found funny.

Overwhelmed

Hey Ami....what's up? Hope it's all going well at your side. If it's not, just remember that things will get better.......and it pays to be grateful that things are not worse than they currently are. Well, my day went great...figured out how my work time would go. Explored my former accounts today and started to make some changes. Especially to my IG account. System Update

A simple system update  That was the only thing it took to make my day, Ami. The day started with me trying to type out content...but the keyboard wasn't responding like I wanted it to. And I didn't want it to make me upset so I just adjusted to it...but then I started to think of how it was going to be if I needed to type a response to a message online....(that's me thinking ahead) "Well, till that time comes", was my final thought. I browsed the settings to see how I could remedy the situation (it was really getting to me 😬) Couldn't really figure out anything so I just left it and charged my phone. Then, evening came and I needed to work on a design...the device was still acting up  I snapped, Ami. I went straight to the settings and got to the system update which needed data connection. Started it and stared as the update downloaded...and got installed. "OPTIMIZING YOUR DEVICE...THIS MIGHT TAKE A WHILE" , was the next thing I saw. Then I just ke...

I Just Did Something Crazy

 Yep! I had no idea I was going to do this. It wasn't in my to-do list. The idea just popped into my head and I thought, 'why don't I give it a try?' What I did? I started this post.
