Off day, stupid rules

I told you there were disruptions to my habit stacking, yeah?
(In the former post)...
Well, it resulted in an off day for me...
Not off in a bad way....quite the opposite...
I realized that the rule I set to not contact any of my friends was a stupid one.
They're my friends!
Sometimes, they may not even pick my calls and that's okay.
I still think about them...but I should be focused on work.
Bottom line is, we all have our lives to live and we don't have to call or message each other every single day....
I watched a video where an actor I know said something that stuck with me.
I don't remember his exact words but I understood what he said.
He was basically saying that a friend shouldn't worry about not seeing the other friend every single day.
Even if they don't speak to each other for days or weeks....the time they eventually meet will be precious and very valuable....because deep down, they're still friends.
So my rule has been abolished! 🙅
I can contact friends and give them a call once in a while...
The most important part of this challenge is self-improvement.
Good habits, learning from everyone and everything, constantly changing ways that won't help, exploring, creating....
I'm setting up for success, Ami.
And I hope you are too.
There's a quote I want to share (I actually remembered this one now 😊)
I don't remember the full thing tho.
But the rest goes like this:
"As long as the relationship lives in the heart, true friends will never part".
I hope it means something to you.
PS: Today was so off....I'm not even supposed to be typing now...this is part of my night stack...and it's evening!
Oh well, I guess it was off for a good reason...so I could realize all this
