I figured it out

Hey Ami

With each passing day, I get more certain of what I want to do.

Sometimes it's the opposite

But today, I was certain.

For some reason I was feeling down. I didn't even know why.

But I slipped into doom scrolling again and ended up searching 'Content marketing'.

The article by Hubspot captivated me, even though it wasn't the top article.

Then it hit me.

Like a hard brick.

"It's content marketing".

For the last two years, I've been writing content (poems and short stories and blogs....even on paper)

Now I'm drawn to marketing and funnels...

All that stuff.

What better fit than content marketing?

And I know that copy can be weaved into content as well.

They're not so different...content and copy.

One thing I've noticed is that all aspects of digital marketing blend into each other.

I'm talking of:

* social media marketing

* SEO (search engine optimization)

* PPC (pay per click)

* content marketing

* email marketing

* affiliate marketing

They all basically play the same role.

Which is to communicate the value of an offer, product or service.

I'm sort of a marketing nerd now

I'm just so interested in it....I actually call myself an explorer.

Not an expert yet.

But I will get there.

Now that I think about it, doom scrolling is not as bad as I think.

It's about exploring after all.

Although I do it when I'm supposed to be doing something else.

Maybe that's where the problem is.

I'll work it out, so that I can doom scroll when I'm done with important work (maybe I should stop adding the 'doom'...)

It seems I've mentioned this reward concept before...anyways
