I failed 😞
I failed my own challenge, Ami.
Last week, I said I was going to start and finish an amigurumi project.
In a week!
Now, I'm thinking back on how the week went and I realize that I underestimated the time it would take to finish the bunny 🐰.
Along with the other things I had to do....
I feel like I put much pressure on myself in terms of what I needed to do.
And I'm not the best when it comes to self-discipline 😏
Especially when doing a task that's related to a project I know I have to complete.
I'm trying my best, Ami.
And I won't give up on my ability to adapt and correct myself.
Before I started typing, I went back to a book that got me into the idea of habit building in the first place.
It's called, "Habit Stacking" by S.J.Scott.
I stumbled on the book last month on a website (PDF drive) and downloaded it immediately.
I read the whole book and started my challenge. I haven't really gone back to it since I started....with the copywriting, content creation and all.
I'll check it out again.
So I can see where I went wrong in the last 20 days and revise my habits.
One highlight from the book I want to share is that goals are different from habits, but goals can be achieved with the use of small habits each day.
Another one is that there are seven categories of goals namely: Career, Finance, Health, Leisure, Organizing, Relationship and Spirituality.
In short, the book is a very helpful one.
If you want to see what mean, you can download the book on PDF drive.
Search for PDF drive on google.
Then search for "Habit Stacking" on the website. The book has a puzzle cube on it's front cover.
I have to go back to the book now.
And it's day 22 (before I forget to add that).
I hope for a great week ahead 😇
See you soon, Ami
PS: I will still complete the bunny and I'll show you a picture....I still like to do amigurumi...for leisure.
I should probably take it down a notch on this 'challenge' thing 😅😅
Anyways, you don't actually fail...you just learn valuable lessons.
