Day 28
Happy weekend, Ami 😊
(I'll stress it again, 'Ami' is you, the reader of this crazy girl's thoughts)
And it's day 28!
I played around with the settings of this blog few minutes ago.
If you've read one of my former posts, you may notice a few changes.
Truth is, I didn't know anything about customizing a website blog...or anything about the settings when I started..
That was...ah...about 27 days ago.
But I've found out that it's actually very fun!
A blog is like your space on the internet...
(Took six months for me to realize that)
If you're the kind of person that likes to type off the top of your head, you should start a blog.
Doesn't have to be anything big or fancy...trust me, it doesn't even have to be informative content.....just you and your keyboard.
That's how I started this blog.
I also plan to have another blog....for informative content.
But I have to plan what to post, when to post, who would find my content informative....it's a lot, Ami.
Now that I think about it....I notice that I'm more excited to post on this blog than when I want to work on my other blog...
I think it's the fun aspect...not having to think about anything or plan anything.....
Just me thinking out loud 😉
Anyhoo...
(I really don't have any serious tasks planned out so this one's going to be long.)
I did something last week and the results were surprising...
I wrote out a list of tasks to complete by the end of the week...weekly goals.
Yesterday, I revised those tasks and found out that I did every single thing on the list!
Obviously, they were I couldn't do in one day alone, considering the responsibilities at home to take care of.
But during the course of this week, it was like everything single daily task I finished helped me to complete my weekly goals.
Now, this discovery has totally changed the way I'm going to do things from now on.
From now on,
* I'll set weekly goals
* Write task lists for each day
* Actually do the tasks, no matter how boring it may be.
I would never have come across all these discoveries if I was still on social media....aggressively selling to people and creating sub-par content.
Trust me, I know better now.
And I will still share all I have discovered with the people doing the same thing as I was doing...and I know some of them.
I still also have to discover what my plan would be in the years to come.
That's probably the main reason why I went off social media.
Because it's not just about setting goals and making profit...it goes a lot deeper than that....it's about the choices we make every single day that can change the course of our lives.
I love to explore and relate with people, but I have to work on the greatest project of all: me, myself and I.
Wow! It's been half an hour of typing already...how I know?
With this cool time tracking app called aTimeLogger.
I started time tracking recently, tracking little activities like typing for this blog and reading ebooks....little things, for now.
And it's kinda cool.
At the beginning of this challenge, I downloaded the app and few days later, I deleted it.
Why? Because I was so frustrated about how to use it....mainly because I was tracking too many things that were irrelevant...but now it's different.
I now know about weekly and daily goals and I'm just tracking the things I know I will do every single day...taking it step-by-step.
And it hasn't been easy for me...
My former posts will tell.
I have to go now, Ami.
See you soon 👋
I could type all day...but I still have weekend tasks...and we're having a small celebration at my house tomorrow...let's see how it goes.
PS: I'm bad at memorizing quotes so maybe I won't push it...whenever I remember one, I share.
Never give up on you, Ami....never.
