Copy And Learning

Hey there 👋
It's officially the end of the the week...
I mean, not yet...
Well, for students and most workers, the week is over 😆
My day went well....not as perfect...but I can smile and say it was a good day.
Finished my tasks....even had a couple of crazy ideas....
Oops! I haven't even written them down yet...I just remembered them as I started typing....
Okay, let me just share.
I was working on a dummy sales page I created in Google docs...by 'dummy' I mean a fake one.
The thing is, copy is not written....it's assembled.
I think that's what I like about writing copy.
You hear it?....Copy.
That's why you always see me talking about a 'swipe file'.
It's basically a collection of elements that I 'copy' from the work of others to help me form ideas of my own. #copy #swipe 😅
I read somewhere once...(I'm just recollecting now) a quote that said.
"Good writers create, great writers steal".
Don't know if I got it right tho.
Anyways, I digressed.
I was talking about the sales page I created in Docs. I assembled it using the details of an imaginary digital marketing course.
By imaginary, I mean AI generated.
Don't get me wrong. It's not a real course...with prepared videos and ebooks and all that...I don't think ChatGPT can generate and compile all that info.
It just gave me the modules, the problems it solved, who it solved it for....well, it started when I was brainstorming on target audiences and I told it 'create' a course for an avatar who's a small business owner.
Back to my idea....
Not so crazy idea tho...
I was correcting a few things when the idea came into my head to write copy for  ebooks I don't have to create!
Well it sounded crazier in my head...but I'll write it down anyways.
You must be bored of all my copy jargon...well that's just me thinking out loud.
I'm loving every moment of this challenge, to be honest.
Sometimes I may be super frustrated or angry or tired or rebellious...
But when I sit to think of how the day went, I'll be like,
"Not bad, Duon. You learned this and that today...don't do this next time...try to focus on this...."
And one thing I learned today is to believe.
For anything you do to work, you first have to believe that it will work.
For you to attempt something difficult, you must believe in yourself first even though sometimes it may be hard.
I'll try to keep that in mind.
That's all for now, Ami.
Till next time ✌
PS: I've been thinking about a particular person lately...much more than I normally would....I don't want to get my hopes up...
😐💭👫💔
Never mind...it's nothing serious.
